He sold the car, complete with its thick blanket of dust, to buyer 'Corvette Mike' Milian, who believes the grime 'adds to the value'.

Sold with dust still on sounds like the yo-yo from Chasing Classic Cars who thinks the dirt adds to the patina. :smash:
There are more new, non-used 78 Pace cars than anybody realizes. I know of a collector/dealer that had 4 L82 4-speed Pace Cars, still in delivery plastic, stashed as of a decade ago. I am sure there are dozen's. These cars were sold right at the time all of the barn find/baseball card/beanie baby collections started going nuts. At the time, I would guess that 20-25% of them never saw the street.
I'd give them $8k for it. WAY too much friggin work to restore a non-rare car that's seen nothing but rotting for 33 years for it to be worth what these morons think it is
