I hope he tears it up in the NFL! I know he won't be the next Elway or Montana or Brady, but I hope he does well enough to build a good career. I can't stand that people hate him just because he's actually a good person and suitable role model for kids

Yup :yesnod: Like I said, I can't deny that he gave our program some life. But he was an ass while doing it. Even in the way he treated the players.

I was very glad to see that game today. That was Tebow all the way there at the end. WhyTF he didn't play like that all game is beyond me. What the hell was with all the circles in the backfield. My bro said it he was just trying to make the defense dizzy.

Regardless. All Tebow at the end. Oh, and that 2 point play? Straight out of Meyer's playbook. When I saw it I was like WTF? That's the Florida Gators.

Granted, it was against the lowly Dolphins but a W is a W and I am happy for Tim-may! Fnck all the haters. Ha! Bishes! :D

I "hate" him because he went to Florida.

It's ok to hate winners. :D I did the same wth Dale Earnhardt and do the same with Jimmy Johnson even though he is a teammate of my favorite driver Jeff Gordon.

Meh, I like Spurrier. Dude can be funny as hell. Arrogant? Yeah, he was. But, he had the right to be. Think of the records that Wuerffel set. Think of what he did in the NFL. Zip. That was all Spurrier. There is more too, too much to name.

Tebow, I was never a fan. He was a pretty good player but when ESPN touted him as maybe the greatest college player ever? Gimme a break. What about Archie Griffin, Jim Brown, Paul Hornung, Red Grange, Barry Sanders or even Butkus? Teebow, is a great, great person and I admire him for his purity but when he beat Darren McFadden for the Heisman, that was bullshit.

Exactly! I backed Spurrier all the way until the end until he fncked us the way he did. 'Course we'll never know why he left but I am still pissed off over that whole situation.

No biggie though. The dumbass took over the reins at USC and we all know they'll never win an SEC Championship, let alone a NC.

It was a 15 point comeback because for the 1st 3 quarters they put up 0 points against one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

13/27 for 161 yards (including 2 chances in overtime drives) against a team that hasn't won a game and a defense that has allowing an average of 267 yds/game.

Ummm... yea. Stellar performance.

Saban knew good and damn well he was going to the NFL.

He could've manned up and said , "Hey, it's been a great run but I want an NFL HC deal."
No biggie, that's cool.

Miles may be a man of his word but he is nuttier than an outhouse in a peanut factory. I think Saban is the better coach. I think what is Miles' saving grace is look at the freaking talent pool in LA. Unfreakingbelievable the talent level of players in cajun country. Hell, I could come down there and win at LSU. A quarterback does not a team make.

He barely had time to throw the ball. Drop back three steps and defenders were in his face already. If he had some decent protection, then I am sure his stats would be better. That offensive line was as porous as a sieve. And that was against a poor defense.

Stellar performance? Absolutely not. Did he get the job done? You're damn right he did.

Denver is bad... period. Nobody is arguing that. The question is that why is the entire sports media down on their knees bowing at the Alter of Tebow after a game that would have been the worst of the season for Brady, Brees, Rodgers, or any of the other top tier QBs?

He got the job done. Great. So will 13 other QBs this week... Why don't I don't see a Yay Colt McCoy thread after his win over Seattle?

Denver has no offensive line to speak of and, despite some excellent defense, almost blew the game. Tebow created a large whooshing sound by sucking through the first 3-1/2 periods. His first, panicked, pass attempt in the 1st quarter showed he doesn't:

1. get NFL defenses,
2. know when to eat the ball,
3. know how to stay in and move up in the pocket
4. etc, etc, etc

He may develop into a successful q'back but yesterday demonstrated the length of the path ahead. BTW, next week he's gonna meet N'goober Suh, who has had a habit of twisting q'backs necks around and generally disrespecting opponents. I don't know if there are more rabbits to be found in Timmy's hat.

yHrar, skeptically

PS-I've been a G'Bay fan since 1958 so while I always hope for my home team (Jets, Pats, Bearse, Vikes, Bearse, Jets, Seahawks, Broncoughs, and sentimentally for the Saints since my daughter lived in NOLA for 5 years), there's only one team I want to see do it all...the former Acme Packers of BuFu, Wisc.

Our lord placed Tim Tebow in Denver so he could play closest to God - at Mile High Stadium.

The Broncos will win the Superbowl this year, culminating in the crowning of MVP Timmy Tebow and the rapture.

QB rating is an invalid stat as it doesn't measure "grit," "scrapiness," "hustle," or godliness.
