A lot of companies proactively recruit for positions that may, or may not, be available....especially if your company has it's own recruiting department. They need to do something to justify their paycheck!

Well, I'm still employed. The guy I work with on my project thinks it's just the management redoing a rec we put out a while ago so we'll see.
