A Modest Proposal

[Sea Six]

It shouldn't come to anyone's surprise when I state that the most attractive members of our society seem to attract the most attractive members of the opposite sex.

Unfortunately, those less fortunate... those stuck with dumpy bodies or faces that could look like they "got hit with the ugly stick" a few times... are doomed to spend their lives with those much like themselves.

After looking at this situation, I've decided that it just isn't fair that only those men who take the time to work on their social skills, spend hours at the gym, and adopt careful grooming and dressing habits can garner the most beautiful and desirable women.

So, I have concluded that we need to have a redistribution of beauty. We should open up a new branch of government, employing a government worker to pair up all of the available beautiful people with someone who is not so beautiful. This will be done with the use of force, if necessary. After all, let's face it... it won't happen unless people are forced to do it, even though it does make perfect sense.

This will ultimately be for the good of our society, since it will result in an overall more attractive offspring. This will only increase over time.

Good point, but see, here's the thing.

There are those of us who don't WANT to work to achieve these attractive mates. We want them given to us by the government.

I personally don't feel any motivation to do any of the things I've listed which would make me more desirable to them. That's why we need a national redistribution of beauty.

This is just another unsung need for social justice.
