ATT Uverse service.....dig this crap.....
I have had ATT .net/.com internet service for maybe 6-8 months now, works fine and cheaper with sat TV than Comcrap....fine, so the Sat first year sub at 35/month now is 57/month...Dish network.....so I called them about adding internet, they sent me to DSL/ATT.....so comcrap left the line to house connected, we use it for when sat goes out..woopie doo....
so what is the big deal to add Uverse?? some sales hole come around, some kid that at least spoke english and looked normal, so he talkes/LIED to me about the intro rate....he says 70/month for intro rate and 90 after....company says 90/month introrate and 120 after....30 more than I paying now.....
so what is happening is I HAD this appointment set up, but the sales hole got the addy wrong....going to the neighbor's house....so I catch some install dweeb 2 days ago, he cancels out due to addy error.....fine,
just this AM, I been on phone for about a hour trying to straighten out the install, much less the price....
so in response ATT sends to me, on their OWN SERVERS......at 942 am FIVE identical emails...finally ending on 946AM about the install being on the 29th of this month in the afternoon, almost 2 week wait.....
I finally get disgusted and reply to cancel the order because it's obvious no one there knows jack diddly WTF they are doing....
so I go up on the roof, to trim some vines, get down and up walk two hispanic guys....hardly speak english with yellow T shirts on, with a JESUS message on both.....waving a ATT line check order and wanting into my back yard.....they did NOT understand but the green line terminus is in the NEIGHBORS back yard, on other side of the fence.....
the terminus INSIDE my room addition was reworked for internet already by one of their techs 8 months ago.....so I send the guys to the other house behind me....
I tossed all the paperwork in the trash, they can't read my reply about cancelling, hell with them....
this is a classic case of modern mis management by today's college youth, they couldn't run a damn lawnmower let alone a company....
my Uncle who was a WW2 Major behind Patton, and my other relative who was a Navy Commander in WW2 are spinning in their graves now.....they both worked for ATT until they died.....
SO I thinking I not going to BE here on the 29th in the afternoon....:dance::dance::shots:
