His job moved to Maryland(?) and he didn't want to go.

I had the pleasure of meeting him briefly at a cruise in. He radiated goodness. I have only seen that once before in an individual.

Sorry I haven't been around lately, but my resources these days are committed to finding another job. I got laid off Sept. 9th from Naval Surface Warfare Center Louisville.

Hard to believe they closed the old "Grey Lady" after nearly 70 years of service. It was kinda' surreal helping them shutter the doors on the detachment, which got BRAC'd to Crane, Ind. and Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. That place had been around since before WW II!

Since I had no desire to relocate to either of those cities, I got the BRAC boot, along with nearly 200 other peeps.

So keep us in your prayers. Locally, it looks like the job market's loosening up, fortunately. I've already had one interview last week and have another one scheduled this Thursday.

God is faithful and I believe I'll get another gig soon. In the meantime, ya'll take care, pray for us and and love one another.
