Gonna drink green beer and eat corned beef & cabbage or what? Do you do anything special for today?

I don't drink and I'm not Irish although someone once told me that my sister and I are Irish twins because we are only 11 months apart so... It's just another day for me. I may smack the wife around later to celebrate but that's really the only Irish thing I do.

When I was in grad school, we could always tell the stupid undergrads who were out to only get drunk by one thing - the color of their beer. The regulars at the bar were all drinking Guinness. The stupid undergrads were all drinking green beer - typically Coor's light with green dye in it. It'll be a cold day in hell before I drink green beer. :nono:

I'll probably grab a Guinness later this evening.

I've got hazel eyes so I'm always good to go for St. Pats day. Today has one special meaning for me, it's the anniversary of the day I proposed to my wife. And no, I wasn't drunk! I don't drink. :D

But was she? Or were there some other illegal drugs involved? :leaving: :D

I have a lot of Irish in my blood. My great-great grandparents were named O'Healey. They came over on a boat from Dublin in the late 1800's. They shortened their name to "Healy" to avert anti-Irish sentiment here in the states. As far as tradition goes, the only thing I did was wear a green shirt. I don't drink beer. I have had sex with midgets dressed as Leprechaun's on years past though. Those pointy boots can be a ***** in bed. Never fall asleep around these wicked little bastards. I did and I woke up with my balls painted Christmas tree green.

Green shirt for me, but no green beer! If I wanted a nasty tasting green beer I'd have a Heineken!

My wife has served green scrambled eggs with ham before. no bull****. You just put a few drops of green food coloring in the eggs before cooking them. She is a childcare worker and she is always coming up with some kind of crap for school.

Went to the doctor for the results of my latest blood work, it was all good, doc said stop those once a week where you drink 6 or more beers, told her not likely, oh green beer will be drunk tonight to celebrate my good labs:beer::beer:
