Buddy bought it new a couple months, shot it 9 times...went to the safe. Told me he needed the cash, so I got it on the cheap...shot it 6 times and do not like it at all.
Should be able to skate a profit on it, gotta hand it to Ruger it sure is small...but dang I feel like I gotta reach in my back pocket to pull the trigger.

It's not a target pistol, it's a self defense weapon. It's designed to have the long trigger pull.
However, if you're not comfortable with it, sell it. One must have confidence in any weapon they carry.

I have one Ruger hand gun. A Super Single Six revolver. It is my 'fun gun" Love plinking with it and having the option to go a little hotter with the 22WMG round is a bonus

I never really intended to keep it, but I figured I would shoot it a few times and see what it was like...quite a punch really. Just got used to my Glock I guess.

Glocks never impressed me ( due to fit in my hand--they are made well )
I have a baretta model 70 in .380 and it shoots exactly where I point ( like pointing my finger ). I wouldn't say "packs a punch" with the .380 round.

9oz pistol, Hornaday Critical Defense 90gr rounds, took me off guard lets say then.
Yeah its all personal preference, that's why there are so many choices
But at the price I got it at, I had to try it.

Well, a guy contacted me says he wants it, but he is out of town till mid-week. He asked me if I would hold it. It would be a $110 profit for me if it goes through.

with a CCW weapon - carried in Ready-One condition - that's exactly what is desired. The Keltec 380 requires the same trigger pull.

Somebody ( I forgot who ) stated they would give a donation to St Judes for each pic of a firearm with a turkey.
I did these two ( since it was a good cause )

I almost bought a Ruger yesterday. I was man-shopping with my daughter's SO and spied a Ruger No. 1 International in 7x57. I've always liked full-stocked rifles and the 7x57 round is a classic stalking round, excellent for deer, both white-tail and muleys. Gonna contemplate it some more while trying to get a CZ 550FS or a Sako 85 Bavarian Carbine in 6.5x55SE. That Ruger looked pretty sweet, though and for <$1,000, it's a strong candidate for the safe.

I tried one out in the store, felt like a decent little carry gun. For a self defense gun, never minded a long or heavy trigger pull. Its not that much different than my S&W 60.
Not exactly what you were thinking an LCP was? It's a last resort weapon. You shoot it to sight it in, and get a feel for it, and ensure that it is operating correctly. Then you only shoot it now and then to maintain proficiency. It's not a fun gun, plinker, or anything like that. You hating the LCP is like saying you hate your car's spare tire. The LCP is not something you are supposed to have fun with.

They are top notch, but "feel" on a gun is everything. I've had a few guns I got rid of because of that. Colt's, etc. If I don't like the way it handles, it's a goner.

If its was DA, I'd be all over it.
But honestly...I bought it to resell...at $150 I had to try it...hell that's what a Hi-Point costs...
Tentatively meeting a guy today to sell for $260.

ding... ding... ding; winner !!!
what the OP prolly should of said is... "I don't like this entire class of pocket/mouse guns".
They are all that way. And the LCP is one of the better pocket/mouse weapons out there. :yesnod:

Sold it for $260...$110 profit...
I definitely see they are a back up gun and for that purpose they would serve it well. I just like to shoot all my guns and it's not a plinker and for the profit...I'm happy.
