Spent a great day today with my son on a friend's farm. My friend has 130 acres and every fall, he opens it up for the Redneck shootout. We bring our own items to blow up and have lots of fun going through many rounds of ammo.

Being in the computer biz, I thought it would be fun to bring PC stuff...

I've always wanted to destroy a keyboard this way...

It's amazing what a 1/2 pound of tannerite and 8 oz of gasoline will do to a PC.

Just tannerite in this case... blew the side right off.

I've heard of baking a motherboard but never quite like this...

What a great day. Put around 500 rounds (of Wolf ammo) through the AR and my son also brought his Beretta U22 Neos and Ruger 10/22 - over 700 rounds through those.

There's nothing quite like spending quality time with your favorite (only) son.

Who's the lucky one that has to clean all those heavy metals, plastic, and other pollutants out of the soil! :slap:

 We cleaned up the mess - except for the fruit. It took a while, but that's part of being responsible for your actions. :seasix:

And it looks like you were successful in that endeavor.

What a great way to spend time with your kid. All kids should experience this and be taught gun safety.

He's a great kid. He's been shooting since he was 8. NRA Firearm Safety training, Marksmanship and Advanced Marksmanship classes and qualified for the USA Junior shooting team a couple of years ago... he just didn't follow through with it.

We'll be shooting blackpowder this weekend. The last time out, he out-shot me by 3 points. I'm hoping to get the bragging rights back.
