Surgery Tomorrow

As mentioned in my Bilateral Stenosis (http://www.thevettebarn.com/forums/off-topic/20701-bbilateral-stenosis.html) post, I am required to have surgery as I have over 80% blockage in my left carotid artery. Well, tomorrow's the day. I go in at 6:00am for surgery at 9:45. Surgeon says I'll be in the operating room for about 2 hours.

Right along that line of incision is a nerve that controls your lips and your smile. You might want to mention to the doc before he puts you out to go easy on that nerve. Don't ask me how I know. Good luck and I'm sure all will go well, they are pretty simple surgeries. They will paste you together so there will be little scarring. They may place a drain, no big deal you just have to empty it, I wore a t-shirt and put it in my pocket. when all is healed have wifeypoo rub your neck down with aloe lotion to keep the scar tissue to a minimum.
