Unfortunately, they don't have one in downtown Chicago.

On second thought, maybe it's good that there isn't one downtown.

Sonic's Chicago Dog is surprisingly acceptable, but still no Portillo's.

Good Chicago style dogs are difficult to find outside of Chicago.

I have met many people that think going from Lincoln Park to the Loop is like going from Lincoln Park to Lemont. :kick: I hope I never get like that!

Anyway, Portillos is good. Dick and his wife, Sharon, have done a lot of charity work for diabetes. :cheers:

I'm working on a project to construct a tunnel under those tracks.:cheers: The Franklin Park crossing is so close to the rail yard, there is always a train moving or stopped there.

I think Franklin Park loves the stopped trains, IIRC they collect a fine everytime the train blocks the crossing for more than 10 or 15 minutes.
