I think "today's" excuse for it has a lot to do with the little brats and their buses.
I for one, thoroughly enjoy later daylight in the evenings. Time outside with a :beer:

I much prefer more daylight in the evenings... I love spring forward. Nice to get off work and have 3-4 hours of light left.
More daylight, warmer temps, women with big ol tantilating mesmerizing.....blue eyes. I love spring and summer! :dance:

Nice when you work the mid shift but sucks in the fall when you work the mid shift.

I love the long evenings, get to take a walk with my wife and daughter after work, it's always nice.

:iagree: Can't stand it getting dark so early in the winter and love the late daylight in the summer. Let's change it this time and be done with it.

Noon should be when the sun is at its highest point in the center of your time zone. Simple.
If you want more sunlight at the end of the day, get up earlier.
