It allows me to expand my music appreciation without directly hitting my wallet. :hurray:

Since most radio sucks these days (the only radio I like is either satellite where I pick the genre or public), this has allowed me to hear bands that I otherwise would have never listened to hear albums that I didn't know existed.

Latest find: God Speed You Black Emporer!

I should have been listening to these guys for the last 10 years.

:kick: You haven't been? WTF? Seen them a couple times, it's being rumored that Vincent Morisset (http://www.vincentmorisset.com/) is working on a film with GYBE. He also just wrapped up the new concert film from Sigur Ros and did Arcade Fire's film.

I'll post up some godspeed in a bit for you.

Oh and Spotify is just as good as Pandora.

It's a great way to hear new music that you'd never know about otherwise.

While it is better than normal radio, I find that it sometimes "thumbs up" songs that I never have. It also does this nasty trick of playing a bunch of shit in a row thus causing me to waste my 6 skips. Of course I'm then stuck listening to whatever it plays afterwards.

I'll ahve to try that out. Is it any better than Slacker? I like how Pandora has a wider selecction of music, but like the Slacker interface much better. The only problem is every time you skip more than two songs in a row you aalways get the worlds most annoying advertisements (I'm too cheap to pay for upgrade service to get rid of them).

Free. I haven't had any issue from my smartphone or laptop with buffering.

The first 40 hours per month are free. If you listen more than 40 hours per month, you can pay to upgrade, which will also remove the ads.

I always get good variety but rarely get any tracks in which I don't already own. :leaving:

I upgraded a couple years ago, thought it was to be a yearly fee but I have never seen another bill since the first payment. Forgot what it was but very cheap.
