40-foot long limo after a night of partying. The limo driver had parked the limo at 3:30 a.m. at the limo company's depot, unaware that there was a drunk passenger still inside. The man woke up, and discovering the keys in the ignition, drove himself a few blocks from his home, parked the limo, and walked the rest of the way home.

Police found the limo and identified the man from his wallet that he had left inside the limo...in his pants. :leaving:

I don't see any hard evidence that this guy was either drunk OR took the limo for a joyride. All that has been proven is that the guy was a passenger in it, and that he "accidentally" forgot his pants and wallet in the limo.

That the limo was found in the vicinity of this guy's house is purely coincidental. Is there any proof here, or just wild accusations and speculation by the police?

He is an innocent victim of a practical joke. His friends are laughing their asses off.

he probably just fessed up when the cops asked

"A reveller in Nebraska who had been travelling on a 40ft limo bus as part of a group of friends is now facing criminal charges as its (sic) alleged he woke up in the limo and proceeded to drive the vehicle to his home last weekend.

30-year-old Steven Hunter was caught after his wallet was found onboard the limo after the giant party bus was found parked up a few streets from his home in the Mid West of America.

Police believe the man had passed out in the toilet area of the 40ft long limousine after having a few too many. At 3:30am the chauffeur parked the limo back at the limo hire company’s depot, leaving the keys inside the vehicle.

When the limo company boss arrived at the depot the following morning and found the $80,000 limo bus missing, he raised the alarm with the police.

It is thought that the party goer woke up inside the limo and discovered the keys, at which point he proceeded to drive the limo to his home. However when questioned by police, Steven Hunter denies this, saying he has no recollection of the incidents which lead to the limo being found abandoned in a street near to his house.
The man has since been charged with criminal mischief and unauthorised use of a vehicle."

The guy evidentally sobered up sufficiently enough to deny the accusations.

Who can argue with that? Hell, I've probably left my pants in someone else's car hundreds of time and then walked home. Plus the guy is from Nebraska [Motto: "What's the point?"], for Pete's sake! Nothin' but mere conjecture by an over-eager police force.

That article leaves out the part about him leaving his pants in the limo. But from aother articles he did in fact forget his pants.
