All of those whiny, out-of-tune CRAP "instruments" (I use that term laughingly) should be banned from the face of the earth.

We'll have a virtual (online) March On Washington, and demand that all of the instruments be confiscated and burned, along with all recordings containing this garbage.

I attended my buds Dad's funeral, an old piper himself. A beautiful fall day in the country, a lone piper playing a lament for the dead on a grassy knoll a distance away, and I can assure you, there wasn't a dry eye :cry: in the congregation,

I'm a sworn Deputy Sheriff myself, and have been to way too many LODD funerals.

It still doesn't change the way I feel about that awful, grating-on-my-nerves screeching noise that's coming out of those things.

I happen to like bag pipes but then again I'm just a few french fries short of a full happy meal. If Sea Six and others don't like them then it's their opinion. It doesn't make them retarded or anything. Carry on. :D

I always liked Amazing Grace on the Bagpipes but it got so overplayed that I change the channel if I hear it.

The flute rendition of it was nice at the 9-11 ceremony.

My favorite rendition of Amazing Grace is by Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai.

Its in my Will to be played at my funeral.
