View Full Version : Sea Six's use of the Signature Line
Sea Six

Seems there are some pretty sincere and, in some cases, downright passionate views of my use of my account's signature line to rebroadcast certain posts by other users.
Let's put this to a poll.
Is it cruel and unusual punishment to rebroadcast some asshat's mumbo-jumbo over and over?

I may have to give this one some thought.

Make it snappy.

I have signatures turned off.
I'm not very bright and I like to keep the whole "reading thing" to a minimum.

Don't do this. You're missing out. Gonna request that admin disable the hide signatures feature. SHE WILL STARE INTO YOUR SOUL WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT

It would appear that the vast majority of TVB doesn't even care enough about my use of the signature line to even vote in this poll.

Don't ever get a job as a data analyst. You'd starve.
141 views... 12 votes.
141 folks... is about the size of TVB OT. Exactly twelve of which actually cared enough about my use of my signature block to vote... which was the point I made.

Pie. It rules over all else. :D
this isn't chicago, you can only vote once, but you can keep checking back to see how many idiotic posts have been made since you last looked.
sigs? haven't used one in years.
little story:
many moons ago, when i was doing engineering, another engineer did a calculation, got it checked by another engineer, got it approved by the supervisor, and then it was sent to the client....who found a mistake, the engineer had forgotten to divide by 12 (feet to inch) somewhere, making the result wrong.
oops.
so the powers that be decided instead of flogging those involved, we instead would all get to fill out a 2 page checklist each time we did a calculation......the first time you read it real careful, and answer each question with care. thereafter, you just checked off the boxes, without reading the questions.
once you have read a signature once, you tend to pass right over it thereafter.
