D/FW peeps:
We are having a fall Blue Thunder Corvette Club Picnic on Saturday, October 22nd. Let's get the Corvettes together to enjoy some cooler weather that will be here in late October. This hot summer has kept so many people inside and out of their Corvettes so this will be a great time for a nice GTG!
This year we will also have several door prizes, including prizes from Southern Car Parts, Zip Products and Corvette Central!!!
Time: 11:00 -??
Place: Lockheed Martin Recreational Area (LMRA), 3400 Bryant Irvin Rd, Fort Worth - Pavillion #3
Alcohol is permitted.

Pavillion #3 directions: LMRA - Picnic Areas (http://www.lmra.org/Facility.aspx?pageid=3) Click on the "area map" tab to view and locate pavillion #3.
You will have to stop at the security shack just inside the entrance to pay a $4.00/person (kids under 6 free) LMRA entry charge. There is also a $5.00 charge per person at the picnic area for the picnic which covers incidental items the club has/will purchase to make sure everything needed is available. Any funds left over will be added to the 50/50 drawing.
Each paid person will receive one (1) ticket for door prize drawings.

Please post how many of an item you are bringing. EX: Lady Z is bringing (2) packages of Hot dogs. This way others can bring them too.
These are just suggested items, if you have something else you want to bring let put in your post. Try to keep your item to simple picnic items.
If you are bringing a covered dish, be sure and bring a serving utensil.
BYOB - we will not be providing drinks, so you must bring your own.
Bring an ice chest for your drinks, chairs to sit in, and some $$$ if you want to participate in our 50/50 drawing! All proceeds will go to the NCM - last picnic we were able to donate $125.00!
If you are bringing a cold food - please keep it chilled until we are ready to serve.
We ask that everyone attending please contribute by bringing an item from the list. We will make sure we are not overloaded with certain items. So if you see an item is marked covered, please do not sign up to bring it.
Remember when you RSVP, please let us know how many in your party are attending and what you want to bring. We will be marking the items we no longer need. Please note the # of people coming, so base what you are bringing on/around that number.

SIDE NOTES:
This is a park, so there will be children, people on bikes, joggers, and dogs on leashes, etc, so please be mindful of them when going through the park.
