no money for a new car here. was actually kinda hoping that my '03 DD will last me 9 more years :D it already has almost 200k miles on it
no contribution to the economy here. sorry

I thought about another car, but I can't justify payments at my current income. Payments, higher insurance, trading my car to cover down payment...made no sense.

bought a used pickup last year..... and sold a little truck and my vette. and looking to sell Mrs. DAB's Subaru.
no $$ for new cars presently, it's all getting sucked up by the house.

:yesnod: $.50 end of November. Another quarter first of the year. :dance: I also get 2 weeks vacation after Thanksgiving and another 2 weeks first of the year. We get paid from Christmas till New Years. :dance: Tax refund in Jan/Feb and company bonuses are paid in March. Might have enough for paying cash for cheap car.:party:

Besides my 09 C6, the only other "American assembled" car I have is my 2011 X3 35i was built in the USA, so I guess it count's a little bit :P

I personally would like to thank my 'rents for conceiving my twin bro' and I on Jan 15, 1946, the night my father's troopship returned from the Pacific and my mom, in a print flower dress, swam out, with all the other hausfraus from B'klyn, to meet the troopships in the East River...much like the native girls in "Mutiny on the Bounty".
