Mod help

With Exotic Muscle having a group purchase on Long tube headers I may finally get some headers for my car.

Here is my problem and question to the Barn members. Problem is never installed a mod this technical and I have no garage to perform the work.

Question is anybody feel like hosting a mod get together and help install some header?

I'm not much on the C4 mods but, if you can round up some of the C4 guys to give you a hand, you can do it at the Barn one Sunday :yesnod:

I've never wrenched on a C4, but I'll come up and lend a hand if I'm free on Sunday. With Gary's lift it should be easy... not sure if the headrs go in from the top or bottom.

Some advice... since your car is a bit older it's good practice to get some spare parts like a few spare plug wires since some might break during removal, some new header bolts just in case any get fugged up, and new gaskets etc.

Murphy's law dictates that if you have spares everything will go smoothly... if you don't, well then it'll be one little stupid thing that halts the project.

Quick update:

I have ordered the headers :above: Should be here in about six weeks. I want to thank all who have rogered up on garage space and help with the header install.

I will be working on a plan of action to get a mod party together for the Vette Barn and RatPack folks.

if you're going to have the exhaust manifold off then it would be a realllllllly good time to go on ahead and change your spark plugs.

Headers are at the jet coaters should be here in a week or two. Let's talk and get something going.
