POLK COUNTY, FL (WAVE) - Wearing baggy pants could land you in hand-cuffs.

Security camera video from a convenience store in Polk County, Florida shows a man police say went into the store intent on stealing some beer.

But he tripped over his saggy jeans as he ran from the store causing the beer to go flying. The suspect then escapes in a getaway car.

He was later arrested on a petty theft charge.

Yeah, no Irene drama here. It's been mild, temps in the low 80s and sunny. Very atypical for late August, not that we're complaining about the lack of humidity.
