Yup, the time has come for Gilligan's Island... the movie. In early development now, under the guidance of Batman Begins/Dark Knight producer Charles Roven at Warner Bros. Brad Copeland (Arrested Development, My Name Is Earl) is writing the screenplay.

It will be an hour of porn, 20 minutes of wild conspiracy theories, 20 minutes of politically biased news, 10 minutes of ads and 10 minutes of LOLcats. Over the credits Snopes will tell you how much of what you just saw was bullsh*t and the entire time the film is running there will be a rolling ticker across the bottom, written by 30 somethings living in their parents' basements, telling you why what you're watching sucks, even though they haven't seen it.
