Just Got A New Toy

just got a new toy in time to lock it in the garage for the next few days while Irene dumps on Virginia.

Oh well, come Monday I will enjoy driving to work in a new 2011 Supersonic Blue GS convertible, and, oh yeah, its a Callaway SC606! :)

I still have the '05 Lingenfelter coupe but I'm having some problems with it and they cannot schedule the car into the shop until the mid- to end-October time frame. Then, with the 3 or 4 weeks needed to rebuild, it meant that I wouldn't drive a 'Vette for almost 7 months (yes, I do not drive Corvettes in the snow) which meant I needed a new ride fast. Found the car at Carlisle yesterday and picked it up at 10:00 this morning.

I am not overly excited about the hood either but it (a) does cover the 2300 supercharger and (b) lets a lot of hot air out that would other wise be trapped in with the engine.
