I just went out for a smoke and it's raining but nothing serious.
A hell of a lot of lightening and thunder though.
First time I've seen lightening go horizontally. :willy:

Did you ever go to the Gasworks on Younge St ? Back in the day ?

I know of the place but it was a little before my time.
I did some sound work at a place called The El Macombo though.

What's your connection?

We partied there in the early '80's. There were some really good bands in that place, and the chickies were fun, and fine, and plentiful...I never did get to the El Macombo though....I know there were some great bands in there too.

El Mo was famous for The Rolling Stones playing secret shows there for many years.
The place has had every major band play in there when they were looking for a more intimate place to play.

There was 2 floors in the place and I was working with a guy from Yamaha and we had to move the PA system from upstairs to the main floor.
After we carried the sound board to the main floor down 2 flights of stairs he told me the value of it and I nearly sh!t myself.
We had to take a couple racks of QSC amps downstairs and he showed me the easy way. Back then these amps weighed in at 100lbs. He rolled the rack to the top of the stairs and shoved it down the stairs. down went this unit with a half ton of amps.
Those amps were famous for their durability and surviving harsh environments.

Good times.....Looks like the worst is all around me but we are getting lucky with a break in the radar line...The tornado warning was moved to Erie Pa....:seeya:

Well, at least down south we realized long ago that you put a "decoy" trailer park about 5 miles outside of town to attract the tornado in order to keep everyone safe!:leaving:
