It has been well never, so how about a gun thread.

It is the one hobby that my father and I work on together and invest money in together. It is nice to be at this age and still have the father son bonding that we do...

That's a nice collection ZZ... Here's some pics of the family gun collection... Most are dads, but my brothers and I have amassed quite a few more in the last 6-7 years. There's about 200 or so firearms in the safes at his home

The pride of dad's collection is his old fully auto Tommy Gun (not the one pictured in the small safe, that's just a plunker since we don't shoot the real one anymore), with a serial number under 300. The favorite out of my collection is my Ruger P7-M8 :thumbs:

It is about the only hobby that my father and I do together, since he thinks my doing car shows and drag racing is a waste of time and money....which is ironic since he spent more on his truck then the economy of a small country when he was doing National car shows and magazine cover shots in the 90's.


I just wish he would let me know BEFORE we buy a new gun instead of calling me saying such-n-such will be in, your portion is $$$. :crazy:

I will never post whether I'm armed or not...

I do have a few "collector's" pieces strictly for show...

Gold Cup Match Grade ACP
Mini 14 Strikeforce
Remington M24

About another half dozen in the house.

A few antique pieces that I keep at the bank.

Mental note: Wear ballistics vest to wrench on "gentlemans cruiser". :D

While i am here at home i have a Sprinfield 1911, a Springfield XDM40, a 300 Weatherby, a 12 guage shotgun, and I also have a Fred Bear Bow.
