9th Annual Virginia Fall Classic - October 21 - 23, 2011

The Virginia Peninsula Car Club Council in association with the City of Newport News invites you to attend the 9th Annual Virginia Fall Classic, October 21, 22 and 23, 2011. This three day event is being held to benefit the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters and the events include a cruise-in, dinner, music, car/truck/bike shows and much more. Last year's event was attended by thousands of spectators, included hundreds of vehicles and raised over $42,000 for this worthy cause. Our 8 year total is over $260,000.

Kasual Kruz-In and Dinner beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., 12500 Jefferson Ave., Newport News, VA. There will be food (proudly donated by Outback Steakhouse), music, a “Trunk-or-Treat” for the kids, and much more. Space is limited, so please RSVP by Oct. 1st.

Open Car, Truck & Bike Show at Newport News Park (NNP), 13560 Jefferson Ave., Newport News, VA. There will be hundreds of interesting cars, trucks, and motorcycles; display vehicles; music; food and craft vendors, a silent auction, a children’s area, live music, a police K9 demonstration, a Coast Guard display, and much more! Gates open at 9 a.m., with registration until 11:30 a.m. Show participant plaques to the first 300 registered vehicles. Judging ends at 1:00 p.m. Award presentation begins at 3 p.m., with numerous specialty awards to be presented. There will be preferred parking at the show for the club with the largest number of preregistered vehicles!

“Fall Fun Run.” We will take a slow, laid-back cruise through some of the most beautiful and historic scenery that this area has to offer. We will meet at a location to be announced at 1:00 p.m., and head out soon after. The route that we will take will be announced the day of the cruise.
