Anyone else had one or had gallbladder problems? I've been sick for a few weeks now and the symptoms point towards gallbladder. I just want this shit to end.

I used to read them a lot. It is used to evaluate how effectively your gallbladder contractes to empty bile. I am assuming you have already had an ultracsound that showed no stones, so it shouldn't hurt at all. Gonna take a few hours tho.

Had mine out two years ago, felt minor pain and had digestive issues. Simple surgery. Good luck.

I had a gallbladder attack twice now, both times had to go to the hospital where they shot me up with happy syrum and all was good. Have had ultrasounds but they never found any stones or anything so life goes on. My sister has had hers removed and said it hasn't changed her life at all.

Good luck with whatever they do to you.

I had two gall bladder attacks, a year apart, before they took mine out about 5 years ago. The attacks were the worst pain I've ever known, but the surgery gave me the best two days sleep I ever had.

had mine removed earlier this year.

DON'T PUT THIS OFF !!!

if the gallbladder starts to get infected, it can not be removed by the "Laparoscopic" method.

And that's exactly what happened to me. Instead of a 1-2 day hospital stay, it became a 7 day stay. Have a nice 6-8" scar on my stomach :yuck:

Most of the family on my mom's side has had to have their GB removed by 35 :/ I've been sick for ~a month now. Last week was the worst. 5 straight days of being sick. The ER did a CT and found nothing wrong.

As far as the surgery goes, research shows an increase in colon cancer for those who have had it removed. There are also MANY stories of the surgery not helping ppl. It's more a money maker for the hospital than anything.

I had mine taken out late last year. After three attacks I said Enough.

No problems since.

I have a consultation with a general surgeon next week to go over the results of the HiDa scan and shit. I wonder how long it takes before "surgery is the only option" is forced down my throat.

It depends on how long you want to feel bad before you beg a surgeon to take it out asap.

That's just it. I changed up my diet 1.5 weeks ago and haven't had the slightest hint of a symptom since.

I hope the diet works for you. J did the diet too. Lost weight. Had gallbladder out last Jan.
