I just figured all these guys were either dead or captured by now. I imagine there's a tendency to think so much time has passed what does it really matter but these guys are some really bad folks that still need to be dealt with.

Yeah, I know it's an old story.I was researching something else and came across it.

No Statute of Limitations for murder, war crimes, atrocities, etc.

That's what I thought but apparent;y Austria of all places doesn't think so. I can't imagine the reasons the other countries are refusing to punish these people.

Austria is basically Germany and Hitler's birthplace. The USA has #3 for some idiotic reason. I'm amazed that the Mossad hasn't eliminated most of them.

The Countries you mentioned probably just consider the cases are too old to waste time on. While I don't agree with that, WWII prosecutions do present big challenges for prosecutors.

I can easily see it could be a real nightmare. But given the heinousness of the crimes you would think it would be worth the effort. Life should be as hard as possible for these SOB's.
