Don't think it's a dupe...

A breathtaking video which shows around 30 people entering a 7-Eleven store and stealing countless items from the shelves is being seen as evidence that flash mob attacks are beginning to spread the country. At just before 2am on Saturday, a large group entered the shop in Germantown, Maryland, rifled through crisps, drinks and ice creams on sale and then left without paying. It appears to be a flash mob attack, similar to the ones which caused chaos at the Wisconsin State Fair, and forced the Mayor of Philadelphia to issue a curfew for under 18s in his city.

The owner of the 7-Eleven in Maryland provided the surveillance video to NBC Washington but did not want the specific location of the store to be identified. When asked if what happened was a flash mob, the owner's son, Mohammad Jebanzeb, said: 'That's what it looks like from the video. 'You can see about 25 to 35 people entered the store all at once. They grabbed everything they could grab and ran out of the store - it looked like it was pretty organised.' The clerk was helpless once he realised what was happening and did not confront anyone who was taking items off the shelves. But he hit the panic button behind the register, which alerts police to a robbery.

'It's just shocking to see they're not afraid of any repercussions from their actions,' Mr Jebanzeb added. 'They're all smiling, and they're laughing.

'They got what they wanted to rob a and they just walked right out of the store like they're not afraid of law enforcement.'

Montgomery County Police did respond but not until after the flash mob was gone.

Mr Jebanzeb said an officer looked at the video but did not take a copy of it. He was told it would be hard to catch people based on these images, but police are trying to identify members of the flash mob. The offenders took candy, drinks, crisps and ice-cream. These are small-ticket items, which police said they would consider shop-lifting.

A spokesman for Montgomery County Police said: 'We're going to take this very seriously. The number of people involved in this [shows they] clearly had a plan, this was an orchestrated event. 'They were in control of that store for the minute or so they were in there taking items off the shelves.'

Police said they would check social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to see if any of those involved posted videos. The incident comes just days after the Wisconsin State Fair was blighted by a mob who assaulted innocent bystanders. Witnesses reported black people attacking whites. And Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter issued a curfew for under 18s in the city after a series of assaults by people in the African-American community.

Mayor Nutter said in a speech to black youths: 'You have damaged your own race.'

My favorite part? At the :50 mark check out the dumbass girl that puts the chips back on the shelf... AS SHE IS F**KING LOOTING THE PLACE.

I would ask where the parents are but... well... yea.

On a side note... I did not write this article and take zero responsibility for the atrocious spelling and grammar errors throughout.

We're going to take this very seriously but we don't need a copy of the tape or anything.

Too bad the clerk didn't have a safe room they could get in and hit a panic button that seals the place and then has a flash fire sterilize the interior of the store.

Or an AR-15 with a few spare mags.

Target practice.

I keep seeing a common denominator in these flash mobs, but I just cant put my hands on it right now. :slap:

I'm thinking that when some of these kids start getting shot for doing this stuff, it won't happen as much. And I won't feel bad for the kids or their parents. :slap:

...and the idiot liberal minded people will no doubt blame the person doing the shooting and make it out so that the idiot thieving pieces of sh*t are the victims.

If & when that occurs, the mom will come out of the woodwork, claiming her child was wronged, was going to school, loved by all, feckn church choir boy.
She will then get a news conference, flanked by "community activists"
who will go on to demonize people protecting themselves, thow in race card, and recieve a nice settlement.

The obvious solution is to make it illegal for people to communicate.

What are they supposed to do? Spend hundreds of tax dollars per $5 theft prosecuting? Because that's all the video is good for.

However, if they can find who initiated the event, they can charge them with a more serious crime. Cut off the head, not the fingers.

Non-lethal force.

Then, lethal force.

It is the only answer.

There en-lies the problem, there is no one head.

Sure you could get that one guy, but there are any number who would take his/her place.

All it takes is examples. Give enough "community organizers"...er..."flash mob organizers" stiff enough penalties, and some people will stop initiating flash mobs. The idea for the location and crime has to start with someone.

But blowing a huge amount of tax dollars on what effectively amounts to the most minor of crimes is fiscally irresponsible. The shop owner should have insurance to cover the losses, and law enforcement can best work to prevent future flash mobs by making examples of the few who can actually be convicted of greater crimes.

Sooo...if the owner/workers had pulled out a gun and plugged one would there be repercussions to the trigger puller? I'm guessing yes... But I think thats what needs to happen to make this stop. I'm guessing just shooting a round in the air would scatter them all.

Or a really nasty Federal organized crime statute.

Get 2 dozen people to rip off cheetos and beer and wind up doing 15-20 in the federal pen on a RICO charge.
