I think the answer would be build a bigger garage, well at least my next house I will have a 3 car garage.

Looks like a Gallardo chopped w/ a C6 which isn't all that bad. But GM has confirmed that it's not a rear-mid engine and will again be front-mid.

Will be interesting to see what GM does w/ the new car. I'm guessing aluminum chassis standard, carbon panels standard. Direct injected 5.3 or 5.7 V8 w/ a true dual-clutch gearbox.

As for looks... maybe some lines from that Stingray Transformers concept car on a C6. Wonder if they'll massage the C6 lines or do something more drastic.

I for one hope that it's not a massaged C6. I already think there are too many similarities between the C5 and C6, and welcome a BIG change to reignite my passion.

That's partially why I didn't sell my car and get a C6. I loved the C5 at first sight when I saw a picture of it in the Washington Post when I was 15. Plus, this one is my first Corvette yadda yadda....

I really like the C6 now, but it took some time for me to warm up on it. I'd love to have a red/tan vert. That said, I'd have to take on about 10k in debt to get one and don't want to do that because in a couple of years we'll be seeing C7 shots and I have a suspicion I'll love it.

I with you on all that, except I'd love to have a black widebody vert.

:withstupid: It took a while for the C6 to grow on me, whereas the C5 was an instant hit. Unlike most people I've talked to, I really like the Stingray concept in Transformers, especially the interior. I think you did the right thing in keeping your first corvette (like I will), and waiting out for the C7 (as long as it's not a C5.5.5/C6.5)

I hope GM steps up to the plate and makes it mid-ship.

Or at least make it as low slung as a say a Ford GT or Mosler.

It's allready been 100% confirmed that it's going to be front-mid and rwd just like it is now. No mid-engine... they did consider it though.

If the C7 is just a revamped C6, then I will just keep and mod what I've got... The C8 twin turbo V6 kinda perks my ears, though. I was thinking about starting a project this winter and putting a single turbo 6 into a C3...

Seriously...Take this concept:

Add some nice sharp lines and modernize it using this as some inspiration:
