Chick has a good voice! Now they need to get those bins filled with outgoing bags!!!!! Oh, and great reflective belts. Without those, I never would have seen them!:D

Trust me, we all hate those damn belts.... They get hung up on hooks and crap in the plane..they really suck.

I retired in 2003, I still have a reflective belt hanging in the bathroom....

you are just posting in defence of your friend who got butt hurt and ugly with profanities because I (and others) posted a negative opinion of a video she posted.

while music is an art...and subjective, if you post it and others don't like it...does that make the OP who posts it an expert? maybe a drama expert, in that particular thread.

for the record, I did not post criticism of your friend...I posted criticism of the video she posted. I would think intelligent minds would know the difference.

For one I post what I think, my friends are not sitting here when I post anything. I agree it is a matter of opinion on what we listen to and thinks cool. Don't bash my friends overseas letting loose and having fun. Give them a little respect, they have it tough enough.

she was an ass for going off with profanities and especially an ass for including my wife in her profanity rant.

I never once used profanities or even a 4 letter word in that thread. I never criticized her. I criticized the video. As I posted already, intelligent minds would know the difference.

First of all, they ARE an amateur band. This isn't Journey or Def Leppard. So what Lars is saying is correct. I saw no disrespect in his post, only an opinion.

Second, one does not have to be a professional to have an opinion about something. Movie reviewers have never made a film in their lives, yet they make a living critiqueing the work of others. Robert Hilburn, the legendary LA Times music critic never sang at a concert in his life. There's no problem here either.

Third...when you post something up in open forum, you're inviting comment and criticism all at the same time. Just because you don't like the person doesn't mean he's wrong. We have a social group option in this forum where you can create your own group and pick and choose the people whom you want to have as members.

Lars rides the edge, but many enjoy pushing his buttons too, so there are no innocent victims here. I have no problem coming down on Lars when I think it's appropriate, but what's happened in this thread is a bit over the top.

Well.. for something which was probably shot with a smartphone, crappy mic, no studio, no post-processing... the singer is, in fact, VERY good IMO - and with a little training or more practice, could be as good or better than the artist who's made that song popular on the radio right now.

And... she can probably shoot better than I can. But I could take her in hand-to-hand. Oh could I...!
