Not sure where it hit, but the streak you see in the video appears to be just a reflection on the windshield. IMHO.

When paused, the strike looks to be in front of the car, not just at the windshield. Unless i looked at it cross eyed.

Oh, you mean the windshield of the vehicle with the wipers going.
