Way Cool.

Be a nifty way to setup a cabin if you had the land. Set it up when there's a heavy rain forecast and you'd be in business. :yesnod:

:iagree: I think it's main advantage is camouflage, speedy setup, and portability (at least compared to a wood or steel structure).

Don't know about heavy rain. Too much water might wash away the impregnated cement. Plus I wonder about the idea of covering the cured structure with snow. Concrete isn't going to set up in freezing temps.

Scroll down for estimated costs:

Concrete Canvas (http://nextbigfuture.com/2011/05/concrete-canvas.html)

A bag weighing 230 kilograms (approximately 500 pounds) inflates into a shelter with 16 square meters (172 square feet) of floor space. Cost is estimated at £1,100 ($2,100), while an equivalent-size Portakabin (a type of portable building widely used in the United Kingdom) costs about £4,000 ($7,700). The same-size tent costs about £600 ($1,150).

Montehall was looking for a garage for cheap, that's pretty cheap. Although 10x17 is a little small for a one-car. :yesnod:

I'd like to have one myself. Although I doubt the HOA would approve of it in my backyard!
