Yep, it's that time again! Grab the mandatory beer...and no Googling!

1. I was driving through Kansas on a beautiful afternoon when I noticed that the crop on my left was green, and the crop on my right was yellow. But they were the same crop! Planted at the same time, too. How do you explain this? And what was the crop?

2. In 1951 many people in this Country died from this common ailment. In 1952 no one died from this ailment. What was the ailment, and why did no one die from it in 1952?

3. What TV character drove this car? What is the year, make, and model of the car?

http://i702.photobucket.com/albums/ww22/lspencer534/colombocar.jpg

4. What is/was the shortest day this year?

5. One of these three sentences has a mistake in it. What is it?: "A recent space shuttle mission almost ended in disaster. While the shuttle and the International Space Station were docking, the two crafts almost collided. A quick-thinking crew member saved the day."

6. Old cars had two of them; now you can't get them on any car, even a Rolls. You still see a few on SUVs and trucks, but no car has them. What are they?

7. Would you let this girl work on your plumbing?

Correct! Tell us why.

starting in 1952 the fed gov mandated that 'old age' was no longer an acceptable cause of death to be recorded on death certificates, doctors and coroners now had to give some other cause of death.

heard this on 'car talk' a few years ago. yeah, i remember useless crap, but can't remember people's names....:slap:
