Staples coupon knocks $100 off the price of tablets
If you’re like most techies without a tablet, you’re looking for a good reason to own one. The problem is most relatively good tablets aren’t cheap. Unless you have around $500 to burn, the best tablets will be out of your reach. However, Staples has an offer that is too good to pass up. The retailer is slashing $100 off the price of certain tablets from now until July 30. All you have to do is print off the coupon, walk into the store and walk out with $100 saved.
Unfortunately, the $100 off coupon doesn’t apply to every tablet Staples has in its stores. It will not be valid towards the HP TouchPad, Amazon Kindle or the Nook tablets. Other than those three, you’ll be good to go.
The tablets available at your local Staples may be different than what is offered online. Still, there are a lot of potential tablets to choose from.
The following tablets are listed on the Staples website and are eligible for the discount.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
Dell Streak 7
Motorola Xoom
Toshiba Thrive
BlackBerry PlayBook
Asus Eee Pad Transformer
Acer Iconia
An Eee Pad Transformer for $299 sounds like a great deal to me.

The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone will finally arrive in the U.S. in August, a Samsung executive said Wednesday.
According to a report by Korea's Yonhap News agency, Shin Jong-kyun, president of Samsung's mobile business told reporters in a briefing Wednesday that the Galaxy S II will arrive next month.
The device has rung up huge sales in Japan and Europe but has not yet appeared in the U.S., with reports indicating that a carrier dispute was behind the delay.
