what about the innocent victims that it will price out of owning a gun at staying proficient with shooting practice?
IMO these retards need to start enforcing the 30,000 gun laws that already exist instead of screwing over innocent people who want to shoot for a hobby or their own and family protection.

I'm looking at this from an economic standpoint. Put a $ 1 per (I am assuming idiot mayor meant) cartridge tax on cartridges, and watch cartridge sales in town hit zero in about as many seconds.
So, reduced sales tax for the town, the possibility of retailers moving or leaving town, taking with them their jobs, sales tax revenue, business taxes, etc. I can't see anything wrong with this.
