With the pay raise you should be able to afford lessons so you will be able to spell "promotion" correctly. :yesnod:

1st line supervision is the sux! Don't ask me how I know. Better yet, send me a P.M.
Continue to study to get promoted to the next level. Things will be much better then. :yesnod:

Congratulations and don't forget what those stripes mean to everyone around you. Since the Army saw fit to promote you to E-5 you are seen fit to be able to handle the responsibilities of an NCO one rank higher. Congrats and take care of your soldiers and/or the Os above you. :flag:
I'll give you 4 months, then you'll be going

Sorry DJ, should have specified in first post. Been out of the Army since 1989 (active), I am promoted in the Broward County Sheriff's Office, jail side
I have been doing the job off/on on a as needed basis.
I have always been a big proponent of the "lead by example" philosophy

just wait until you look back and say "wow, there is a lot more work than I thought"
it's not as much manual labor as it is having the ability to juggle about 500 things at once.
