I know you're always looking for investment opportunities for the family fortune - pick up one of these, we can have the greenskeeper mow a big Pentastar on the number 1 tee box, and we'll all try and shoot MoPar.

Three well-known golf courses west of Fort Worth have been posted for foreclosure by lenders and could be sold on the Tarrant and Parker county courthouse steps Aug. 2, according to the Foreclosure Listing Service and a search of public records.
In Tarrant County, Textron Financial Group has posted two courses owned by Somerset Golf Group, claiming in filings that a default has occurred on November 2003 notes that total $4.5 million.
Those include Whitestone, 10650 Benbrook Blvd., which borrowed $2.9 million, and Lost Creek, 4101 Lost Creek Blvd., which owes on a $1.6 million note.
The First National Bank of Granbury has posted the Golf Club at Crown Valley, 1204 Mikus Road, near Weatherford, for foreclosure, according to Foreclosure Listing Service. That sale is scheduled for Parker County.
The golf club borrowed $1.4 million in July 2008.
Owners and other representatives at each of the courses could not be reached for comment late last week or did not return messages seeking comment.

Wow...all three are tanking? That's amazing.

Lemme call McDuck's CFO and see what our ROI on this thing would be.

I have a feeling that the three of us having free golf privileges might mean that I'd be eating cat food by the time I'm 54.
