Hated it. Terrible beer, but it's everywhere. Their Bavaria is much better, especially Bavaria Gold.

:rofl: yes, it is just about the only beer you can find when you are no where near a decent sized town. You are right though, the Bavaria was a better beer.

I want to go back down there. Did you make it over to Arenal?

No, I made it to the rainforest (met some nice Swedish chicks) and to Poas (met some nice Dutch chicks) and out to Jacó (met a crapload of...well...you know). :lol:

Yes.

My pics don't even come close to telling the story. There were just too many situations where there were outright gorgeous chicks everywhere you looked, but I either didn't have my camera, or conditions didn't warrant its use.

It's expensive because of all of the Americans who are already moving in and destroying the culture (the fast food giants are already working their dark magic). But the country is gorgeous, pretty much all of their power is generated cleanly (geothermal and hydro), they're rabid about protecting their rainforests, the women are both stunning and incredibly nice, their version of Spanish is one of the better-spoken ones, and it's a surfer's paradise.

Indeed, the women there blew away the ones in Rio de Janeiro (though I managed to get better pictures in Rio). Only Bogotá, Colombia and Warsaw, Poland manage to compare in that department.

The weather is steady--hot and humid in the lower altitudes, and incredibly comfortable but warm in the higher altitudes around San Jose. The only downside being that it's overcast most of the year.

I strongly recommend.
