It was a kick after two weeks of nothing close to 60, to walk out of the airport and it was already mid 90's at dawn.

Yes, don't you Canucks talk? I was in Vancouver on the First. Everyone else heard I was going to be there. They threw a parade and had fireworks - big picnic at Stanley Park. It was a great time.

You didn't get the invite?

We did...and sent in the RSVP...

unfortunately, the jet had to go in for service and we were unable to attend. I heard the food was excellent.

I was in Ottawa for the big day. Glad you had a great time in my home town!
