MAUI - After three days, the search for a California man who was swept into a blow hole has ended.
According to Maui Police, 44-year-old David Potts of San Anselmo, California was knocked over by a wave and swept into the "blow hole" at Nakalele Point on Saturday.
The search continued throughout the weekend and was suspended on Monday evening. Rough water and poor visibility were some of the challenges that rescuers faced.

It's a formation usually in Lava or Coral.
Here's one we found in Curacao.

I took it that he was washed in from the ocean opening of the cave. I guess he could have fallen in from the shylight entrance (blowhole end). :sadangel:
