If I elected to do hpdes I would opt for a fresh engine....duh :lol: Also my 85 needs a battery but I do not feel the need to "impress" anyone...sorry. 33 years ago when we bought our house, my wife of only a few months asked if she could mow the grass.

Being the typical Midwest young male who mowed yards for a living and forced labor at the parents home, I had no issues with her request.

Fortunately for me, she grew up with two older brothers. When she asked to help mow, (she really loves to do this) her dad would tell her “It’s the boys job, go inside and help your mother”.

Because of her older brothers, she was into cars. She was driving a 1967 Marina Blue Malibu when I met her.

Our C5 is her daily driver.

Unless she was down due to illness, I have never had to do any housework, even when I told her that I would help out. She insists that if I can bring home the vast majority of our household income, (about 80%) and she only worked part-time. (2 ½ days a week). She would take care of our home.

But, I do ALL the maintenance and improvements to the home so it works out.

Did I mention that she likes to paint also. :D

Funny, here my wife is older of two daughters, and so was 'daddy's little helper' around the house, always interested in doing shit, and so is the PERFECT woman AFAIK......the shit she been through around here is just amazing.....a room addition while dating, a Atrium glass room, two concrete pads, wood deck, kitchen including moving a bearing utility wall, a/c replacements, living room ceiling, crown molding, bathrooms rebuilt and totally remodeled....windows replaced, roof redone....door replaced and rebuilt....carpeting, ....the kid is a trooper, especially with being age 59 and a granny 14x over.....

to boot, she is slim and trim, sexy as hell....

As though to fill in some emptiness in their life. And with that I think facebook is a cheap tool where people can blend in with everyone else. The best benefit of FB is that I have been reunited with people of the past with whom I have lost contact with for one reason or another over the years. Most I would have never had the time or opportunity to search them out.

Any social media, be it FB, Twitter, CF or any forum is what you make it. If you wear your life/heart on your shirt sleeve you are opening yourself up for trouble. I’ve seen it happen in CF and other forums as well.
