After downloading the update, I can't get into my online banking. I can see the homepage but nothing is "clickable". Thanks in advance.

IE9 doesn't work with 99% of the sites I use daily.

Firefox or Chrome are both much better.

I've been using IE9 for a while. Of course it's as a secondary browser that only sees a couple websites.

Jeebus, if you're that useless (http://tinyurl.com/6fvp5sr) with a computer you may want to go back to figuring out fire.

Some don't agree with my tactics...but I don't care. :D

Not everyone works in IT. I don't necessarily need to know everything btw. I just need to know who does. I figure, as a good manager, if I surround myself with smart folks and ,thus, I take good care of said good folks then the job gets done pretty damn well. Additionally, if you ever need to know anything about Hazardous Materials or loading/unloading a cargo aircraft, be sure to look me up, I'll certainly return your teaching ways. How about those tactics? :D

all this crap invasion shit, like that Yahoo tool bar I can't kill.....

Some Web sites may not behave as expected in Internet Explorer (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/956197)

You're big on personal responsibility right?

Then take some when you install a program and don't just click "next" like a dang lemming.

99.99999999% of the time there's a box to UNCHECK so the crapware doesn't get installed.

Odds are YOU didn't uncheck the box so the crapware got installed. :yesnod:

I don't know about him, but I have to use IE at work because Ford, vAuto, our CRM, and our finance web sites don't work with anything except IE. BUT, they don't work on IE9 either.

Try IE9 in compatibility mode (make it run like IE7).

Also, you can run IE Tab on FireFox to get the "best" of both worlds.

Wait...aren't you going to tell him how? :toetap:

I know how to do it, and I tried it when I had IE9 installed. It worked with everything except our CRM, which is what I use the most. I'll just wait until they tell me they have it fixed, and switch then.

So your CRM won't work with IE9, IE7 or Firefox (any version)?

:iagree: It's odd that compat mode doesn't work since it's supposed to "remove" all the code that MS put in for IE9.

I know in our case we were advised not to go to 9 because our SAP stuff wouldn't work with it, so I had to pull it from the SUS stream...still waiting for them to fix it.
