you can TRY the non acetone remover....good luck....then try lacquer thinner.....if not an immediate reaction on the red...dry it up quickly, and try full acetone...but on a rag to swipe the exact spots quickly.....as it will most likely attack the floor finish....find the product it was finished with and re do....

if it was a prefinished floor/vinyl...best of luck...you are screwed...

Linda's daughter just had a vinyl wood grain floor laid in her daughter's room and so it came with extra strips...so when damaged, just peel and stick again....they did what they did...I think it was a waste of money 400 bux....

Well it is good that the remover took most of it off, now get some Old English Dark Polish and scratch repair. Then put a light coat on the area, concentrating on the places the nail polish was. Let it set for an hour or so then buff it off with an old towel.
It might take a couple of treatments, but I bet it covers it completely! :yesnod:

You likely don't need to do anything else. The finish on the floor is probably urethane and once cured, nail polish remover shouldn't hurt it in the amount you used. The two have different solvents.
