Her name's Yoda. Crested Chihuahua. When initially found by her owner, Yoda was believed to be a rat. Now she's officially the world's ugliest dog. According to the contest held in Sonoma, CA. I don't know whether to laugh or feel pity. About both Yoda and her owner.

Pity for those who find amusement and entertainment in the unfortunate lack of proper upkeep in a breed of dog that requires a lot of special care and nourishment.

Chinese Crested are notorious for having skin and dental conditions if not cared for properly. Some people get these dogs not knowing the responsibility involved in this particular breed. I find it sad that these poor pups have to suffer due to the lack of care by their owners.

Wow... I never knew you had a soft spot for anything other than bacon (and Yamma, of course). :cheers:

I happen to have adopted a Crested (Taco Jones) and although I always thought these dogs were ugly as well, they may be some of sweetest dogs you could ever imagine.

That dog does not leave my side when I am at home. :cheers:
