Blind horse falls into owner's pool
Posted: Jun 22, 2011 10:54 AM EDT
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - A horse, who went for a dip in its owner's swimming pool, is resting back in its stable Wednesday morning.
Casper was grazing in the front yard of its owners Acreage home Tuesday night when it made its way to the backyard and fell in the pool.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue had to drain the pool, and Casper was pulled to safety.
"Everything has its individual challenges, and this one was the depth of the water, having to pump the pool out first and get things in position. But when we did, it really went well," said William Rowley with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The owners say the 26-year-old horse is blind.
