Not participated in the tour (yet), but have attended the kickoff gatherings when the tours originated from Milwaukee (2005) and Madison (2009).

If the tour comes to a town near you, be sure to attend, even if it is for that one day, it is an event NOT to miss.

Checked 'em out when they stopped in Chattanooga last year. Saw some pretty cool rides, some high dollar, some not. I'd like to do the long haul one of these days. :yesnod:

My buddy has done it with his brother for the last two years. They seem to enjoy it. They take his brothers Rousch Mustang. last year he said they got into a couple of "high speed sprints" along the way.

I checked them out too. I know a CF member that did the entire route in a midyear. I also know one that toured almost the entire U.S. in his '66 Vette. He was lucky to stay with many members to save on hotel bills. His fuel cost was still crazy though. Food, gas, and lodging can get crazy once you add it all up.
