Live grenade taken to Oro Valley police station

TUCSON, Ariz. - Oro Valley police say a visitor brought a live hand grenade into the police station.
It caused the evacuation of the building and town complex Thursday afternoon.
Police say the person who brought in the grenade didn't know it was live.
The Arizona Daily Star says an officer took the grenade to an open area near the town complex and the Pima County Regional Bomb Squad was called in.
An officer with the squad determined the grenade was live. The grenade was then placed in a bomb disposal container and taken away to be detonated.
The person who brought the grenade was questioned by police.
Police didn't release the person's name or say whether charges would be filed.
