I love when companies come up with creative continuing education courses...

September 30th I get to attend a CE course at the BMW Performance Driving School in SC (a very short drive from my home). 2 hours of continuing ed in the morning sponsored by a dental supply manufacturer, followed by 6 hours of thrashing any and every BMW model (M's included) around the tracks with instruction from the professionals, time trials and elimination races.

Gonna be some fun learnin's there :hurray::hurray:

Hmm...I got to do all the BMW thrashing without any BS CE course first. :D

Very cool, Did they give you a tour of the plant? That thing is freaking HUGE! I had to go for a business meeting last fall.

That's the plant in Spartanburg, S.C? I toured that joker the first year it opened. They had just begun tooling up for the Z3 Roadster. Very impressive facility.

Yeah...and it's way bigger now. I think they've doubled the under roof facility since it opened. They even got their own exit ramp off I-85. :yesnod:

I'm just happy if there is a barbecue lunch provided when I have to take a CE class.
