Texas...Galveston island.

I never knew that Galveston was on an island. I always thought it was on the coast.

Must be nice to be out of Indiana. I hear Galveston is still jacked up in parts from the hurricane. Sad to hear, before moving to TN in '02, I'd been going there since I was a little kid. :cheers:

I didn't mind Indiana. It was really laid back.... and the summers didn't last 8 months. :D

I never knew that Galveston was on an island. I always thought it was on the coast.

Most of the time it's an island. Every now and then there's a hurricane and it becomes a submarine.

Not much water for a Coastie though. And if someone told you summer only lasts 8 months in Texas, they lied. It's more like 10. :yesnod:
