I'm deathly afraid of heights. I'm talking about being up a few rungs on a ladder scares the shit out of me. I want to skydive like crazy tho.

Everyone that ever died in an airplane crash was still in it when it got back to the ground.

:iagree: Although is looks exciting, I could never bring myself to do that.

I about shit my pants going on a sky coaster. One of the operators said when you get to the halfway point, put your arms out and scream "Fly!" When we hit the halfway point, I kept my arms in and screamed like a little girl, "I don't wanna fly!"

I'm not a fan of heights when it comes to being at the edge of a building or on a roof.

Funny thing is, when you're skydiving, the height becomes a non-issue. Seriously.

Once you leave the plane it's a total rush and incredibly exhilarating.

I'd do it again (once I lost about 30-40 lbs).

this...in my younger days when i worked in the field, i could climb ladders...but edges of roofs, sides of cliffs, all that crap scares the shit out of me. a few months back i had to climb a 12 foot ladder and think i lost ten pounds sweating when i was doing it. but, i have never had issues with being in airplanes.

i jumped twice about 12 years ago, so didnt think much of it when we decided to do it again. this time i was a tad bit more nervous on the way up, but once out of the plane, all fear of height is gone. the roller coaster stomach feel lasts about a nanosecond. what a rush.

No such thing as a "perfectly good plane". :D

:yesnod: It's one that takes good to a level of perfection.
